Hi David,

Great site, Congratulations. It will add your thoughtful analysis to the growing body of web-content dealing with climate change and peak oil. Having just (with others) started a Sydney transition initiative I look forward to tapping your thought-leadership. I particularly like your nested scenarios and can see it being a powerful tool for communicating the place of household and local community efforts in the wider scheme of things. Kindest regards,
Peter Driscoll

Good site. I only hope the people who need to read it can find it fast enough to educate themselves and take action.

As we prepare to deliver our Energy Descent Action Plan to the local council, we will be watching this site with great interest.

Thank your for providing it.

Hi David,

the site is looking good. My vote is for the nested scenarios. I can see this happening already in the work that I am doing. The Federal govt. is definately focused on easing the transition for big business and large scale infrastructure. The States are trying to solve their own problems of water, waste and energy security. At the community level most people are feeling powerless, so groups like MASG are popping up all over the place. There are also a whole lot of 'lifeboat' families out there.
The problem with all this is how resources are being distributed, as we saw recently in Victoria with $18 billion going to building more roads and $72 million to 'fight' climate change?!?

I'd like to see some more examples of consious transition pathways on here, how they are working and what they look like. For all the officials who are not paying attention, there are lots of people who are.

Jane
